• Garkha, Saran
SRE is setting up 2 power plants totalling 1MW at Garkha village (12 kms from Chapra).
• Sitalpur, Saran
Saran Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. is in the process of setting up a 5MW biomass combustion based power plant at Sitalpur in Saran district at a project cost of Rs. 260 million. |

Future Plans |
| |
SRE plans to set up small and large biomass based power plants in 4 districts of Bihar – Saran, Siwan, Bhojpur and Muzaffarpur. The company intends to cover eastern parts of the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh – Balia and Deoaria districts.
In the future, the company also plans to apply for a licence to trade in electricity and also intends to get into retail distribution of electricity but this is at a preliminary stage.
